Restaurant
For TAO Group’s second Avra restaurant, Rockwell Group created a soaring, two-story space with a neutral palette that transports diners to an open-air villa in Greece. White oak, Dolomiti white marble, oil-rubbed bronze, custom artwork and light fixtures, and beautiful greenery create a chic, naturally-lit atmosphere.

A chic escape from the bustling streets of Manhattan.

A metal screen with punched letters lists seafood. A white marble bar is opposite a casual lounge.
We restored and revitalized the entrance and large bay windows of the historic Upper East Side building. Inside, a serene oasis awaits.

A feature stair leads guests to the cellar dining room. A rhythmic, swirling painting by New Orleans artist Amanda Tally—one of five—is featured there, and walls are clad in a combination of bronze metal screens, split-faced stone, and wood paneling.
