In 2000, Rockwell Group transformed the magnificent Second Empire Guardian Life building into the flagship W Union Square. Akin to a romantic, light-filled conservatory, its lobby bar and guest rooms offer views of one of Manhattan’s most vibrant neighborhoods. The design is infused with an eclectic mix of contemporary decorative arts, and draws its cues and craftsmanship from the beaux-arts style of the existing 1911 building, and the lush greenery of the park outside.
