Hotel
Hawaii’s former Pacific Beach Hotel has relaunched as Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach after undergoing its first major renovation since it opened in 1969. Rockwell Group re-conceptualized the property’s exterior façade, public areas, guestrooms and suites, and pool deck. Our design concept is inspired by Honolulu’s culture and the island’s lush landscape to create a tranquil oasis in the midst of a bustling city.
From lava stone mosaic accents, to woven columns, to the artwork, thoughtful design touches that pay homage to the native Hawaiian culture are woven into the hotel’s interior.

A custom limestone reception desk and organic light fixtures evoke a refined island aesthetic.
Influenced by Kuhio Beach, the boundaries between indoor and outdoor are blurred.

The rooftop pool deck and lounge features custom teak lounge furniture, lanterns, festoon lights and glowing fire pits to transition from day to night.
