Through a grant from Disney, UNICEF has announced the launch of a pilot program that utilizes Imagination Playground and recreation to promote play, a critical part of child development. P.L.A.Y., Play & Learning Activities for Youth, explores the power of play as a tool for learning and emotional development in countries where safe recreation opportunities are limited.
The initiative will reach more than 10,000 children through the placement of 30 Imagination Playground sets in primary schools, and child-friendly spaces in Haiti and Bangladesh.
