In partnership with Shaw Contract—our 8th collaboration following the 2021 release of our area rug collection Terra Meta—Rockwell Group created Soleil de Mer, a rug collection inspired by the Mediterranean’s natural and manmade spectacles.

The designs feature abstractions of big gestures, organic forms, and repeating geometries.
Offered in a 12-color palette ranging from blush to azure blue, Soleil de Mer can be adapted for any hospitality use.

The 80% wool, 20% acrylic carpets take advantage of Shaw’s new Axminster loom capabilities, which produce durable, high-quality carpets with intricate patterns and colors.
For Maya Romanoff, David Rockwell designed Porto, a luminous wallcovering collection that features three fluid, dynamic, and geometric designs made from a thin veneer of die-cut cork overlaid on silver or gold foil and washed in an array of organic colorways.
We borrowed the collection’s names from Portugal, which produces 50% of the world’s cork supply.
Cork is a sustainable, flexible product with an incredible range of aesthetic properties and applicability in the built environment.
